Buffalo, NY : Driver charged with DWI after police probe crash on Saturday, March 11th 2017

A man was arrested in Orchard Park on Saturday at 9:03 p.m. for driving while intoxicated after failing several field sobriety tests and refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test.

Police encountered Richard White, of Orchard Park after a 2008 Toyota reportedly struck a vehicle on Fisher Road in West Seneca and fled the scene. Officers located the vehicle traveling west on Southwestern Boulevard, and observed the vehicle weaving out of its lane and showing heavy front end damage. Police did not indicate if White faced any charges in connection with the accident.

White was released and is to appear in Orchard Park town court on March 28.
