Bristol, VA : SUV crashes into front of Andy's Market on Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2017

A black SUV crashed into a convenience store on Commonwealth's Avenue in Bristol, Virginia, on Saturday afternoon.

There were no injuries reported when the Ford Explorer went through the front of Andy's Market. There were people in the store at the time of the crash, but not in the section where the SUV crashed through the wall.

Bristol Virginia Police are investigating the incident. Sgt. Michael McCoy said an elderly driver was behind the wheel, but he's not sure how the crash occurred. It's unknown whether he suffered a medical problem or if the vehicle had mechanical issues.

The Fire Department was on scene cleaning up the crash and checking the structure.
