The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died in a two-vehicle crash.
Frederick Peters, 85, of Ridgeville, died from injuries sustained in the crash at approximately 2:35 p.m. at Trident Medical Center, Coroner Paul J. Brouthers said.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 78 at the West Meadow Drive intersection, Trooper Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
