Lexington County ,SC : Jermain L. Watkins, 39, killed after Crash along Imterstate 20 on Saturday night ,August 16th 2015

One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 20 on Saturday night.

Around 6:55 p.m., a Toyota was traveling eastbound on the interstate, then ran off the right side of the road near mile marker 58.

Troopers said the vehicle hit a tree and caught fire. The driver, identified as Jermain L. Watkins, 39, died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
