A 19-year-old man was hospitalized early Sunday after his bicycle was struck by a truck in south Lansing.
The accident took place at about 6:30 a.m., said Lansing Police Sgt. Katie Diehl.
A truck traveling northbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Jolly Road struck the cyclist, who was crossing the road at the time, Diehl said.
She said the cyclist, a Lansing man, was taken to an area hospital. The road was closed from about 6:30 a.m. until shortly after 9 a.m.
The accident remains under investigation, she said. She did not have any additional information about the driver of the vehicle.
