ST. LOUIS, MO : Person struck killed overnight in south St Louis Co on Monday, 14th October 2024

A man was struck and killed by a car Tuesday on Tesson Ferry and Old Tesson Road.

St. Louis County police officers from the Affton Southwest Precinct responded for a person struck near the intersection of Tesson Ferry Road and Kempf at 12:15 a.m. Officers found a man who had been struck by a vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to a release, the man was walking across Tesson Ferry Road when he was struck. Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.

The investigation is ongoing.
