Morgan County, CO : Fatal crash on Colorado Highway 52 north of Morgan County Road EE on Sunday, 25th August 2019

The Morgan County Coroner’s Office issued a press release Sunday regarding a fatal vehicle crash that morning.

Samuel J. Murri, 23, of Colorado Springs, was killed at the scene of the single-car rollover on Colorado Highway 52 north of Morgan County Road EE.

The crash was reported to the Morgan County Communications Center at 11:24 a.m. on Sunday.

Two people were transported by MediVac to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Murri died at the scene from his injuries, the Coroner’s release said.

Other responding agencies included the Morgan County Sheriff Department, Log Lane Village Marshall’s Office and the New Raymer/Stoneham Fire Department. The accident remains under investigation by Colorado State Patrol and the Morgan County Coroner’s Office.
