One man was killed and another injured in a single vehicle crash Wednesday morning in West Chester, according to officials.
Police suspect excessive speed was a factor in the crash that resulted in a vehicle into a light post at the intersection of Cox Road and US-42 around 2 a.m., said West Chester spokeswoman Barbara Wilson.
Police are still investigating the crash.
Two males, aged in their twenties, were traveling in the vehicle. The Butler County Coroner's Office is investigating the fatality, said Wilson.
The other occupant of the vehicle was taken to West Chester Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
