ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — A woman died and several children were injured when the SUV they were in flipped over on West State Road 40 in Volusia County Monday.
The driver of the vehicle died at the scene. Another adult and seven children were taken to area hospitals, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.

Troopers shut down S.R. 40 in both directions to investigate the crash. The road reopened around 8:30 p.m.
