Pocahontas, VA : Car crashes into house on Wednesday ,July 15th 2015

Emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident in Pocahontas, VA in on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. A car ran into a home at around 12 p.m. First responders said one person was hurt, but the injuries were minor.

A heating oil tank that was in the home was damaged by the car. The accident caused a leak in the tank and responders were contacting the oil company to come out and drain it. Pocahontas, Abbs Valley and Bluefield, VA Fire Departments responded to the call. Bluefield, VA Rescue Squad and Tazewell County Sheriff's Deputies were also on the scene.
