OROVILLE, CA : 4 vehicle crash causing traffic delays on Highway 70 at Ophir Road on Wednesday, 14th February 2024

A four-vehicle crash is causing traffic delays on Highway 70 at Ophir Road.

The CHP said around noon, they were notified of the crash. A preliminary investigation revealed a northbound vehicle on Highway 70 attempted a right turn into Ophir Road. The CHP says the vehicle was driving at a high speed on the wet roadway. Then the car collided with three other vehicles westbound on Ophir Road.

The CHP says there are no major injuries among the people involved.

Officers are on the scene managing the situation.
