Grand Rapids, MI : Two people injured in a two-car crash in Tallmadge Township on Sunday evening, September 25, 2016

Two people were injured in a two-car crash Sunday evening at a Tallmadge Township intersection, police said.

Mason Maracek of Grand Rapids was driving west on Lincoln Street at about 8:50 p.m. when he stopped for the stop sign at Eighth Avenue, and then proceeded to turn left onto 120th Avenue and into the path of a minivan driven by Jane Feutz of Coopersville, said Sgt. Matt Wildfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

Feutz, 62, was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, where she was listed in stable condition.

A passenger in Maracek’s car, 25-year-old Tara Mullins, also of Grand Rapids, was in stable condition at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Wildfong said.

Wildfong said the injuries were not life-threatening.
