Moorhead, MN: Three-vehicle crash on I-94 in Moorhead injures two men on Monday, July 27th 2015

A Fergus Falls man was hurt in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Moorhead on Monday afternoon.Benjamin Wedll, 34, was driving a Mazda Tribute westbound about 2 p.m. when he was distracted and didn't notice the traffic stopped in front of him, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.Wedll rear-ended a Ford Escape driven by Richard Ellingson, 63, of West Fargo. The collision caused Ellingson to hit a Kenworth semi driven by James Jacobs, 75, of Vergas, Minn.Wedll and Ellingson were injured in the crash. They were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with injuries that were not life-threatening, the patrol reported.The patrol said Wedll was wearing a seat belt at the time, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. A patrol incident report listed moderate damage to Wedll's vehicle.
