Worcester, MA : Barre woman killed in Templeton crash on Friday evening, February 10, 2017

A Barre woman was killed in a rollover crash on Barre Road Friday evening.

Jennifer Thompson, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident about 4:45 p.m.

Her passengers, Brandon Thompson, 21, and John Woodson, 22, were taken to Heywood Hospital in Gardner with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.

Ms. Thompson's 2011 Hyundai Elantra was headed north on Barre Road when it went off the road and hit a utility pole.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by Templeton and Massachusetts State Police. The Templeton Fire Department and Phillipston and Hubbardston Police assisted in handling the incident.
