Neenah, WI : 77-year-old pedestrian killed after struck by a vehicle on Tuesday May 31, 2016.

A 77-year-old Neenah man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Neenah man was stopped at E. Forest Ave. and Commercial St. about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday. The man began to turn on to N. Commercial St. at a green light when the 77-year-old stepped into the crosswalk and into the path of the car.
The 77-year-old was struck by the front passenger corner of the car and fell backward, hitting the back of his head on the roadway. The man was taken by Gold Cross to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
