Pittsburgh, PA : Avalon man killed in single-vehicle crash in Ohio Township on Saturday night, January 21, 2017

An Avalon man died this morning from injuries he received in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night.

Patrick McCauley, 46, was pronounced dead at Allegheny General Hospital, North Side, at about 12:25 a.m. today, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

The accident happened at the intersection of North Avenue and Ohio River Boulevard in Ohio Township at 11:29 p.m.

Reports indicate Mr. McCauley's vehicle crashed into a utility pole.

Ohio Township Police are investigating. Additional details were not immediately available.
