East Tulsa, OK : East Tulsa crash leaves one man dead on Thursday, 8th April 2021

A crash near 41st and Memorial in East Tulsa closed part of 41st Street Thursday morning starting around 6 a.m.

The man in a green car was headed west when he drifted into the eastbound lanes of 41st as he neared Memorial. At this point, police believe he hit another car and went into cardiac arrest.

Unfortunately, the man in the green car did pass away from what was likely a medical condition.

Tulsa Police tell FOX23 they found meth in his vehicle and it looked like it had recently been used. They are waiting on the medical examiner to confirm if the drug played a role in his death.

The other driver was taken to the hospital for back pain but should be fine.
