FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA : 19-year-old man dies after crash into utility pole on Sunday, 11th August 2024

A 19-year-old Shippensburg man died after a crash in Franklin County on Sunday.

State Police stated Delbert Zimmerman, 19, was driving a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja southbound on Rice Rd. in Southampton Township around 9:00 p.m. on Aug. 11.

According to authorities, Zimmerman approached a utility pole at a high rate of speed before striking it.
