Hamilton County, IL : 30-year-old William G. Tison dead in pedestrian accident in car driven by Tony S. Dugaro, 45, on Illinois Route 142 in Hamilton County on Sunday morning, Aug 9, 2015

Illinois State Police say a pedestrian was killed in a traffic crash in Hamilton County on Sunday morning.

It happened around 1:15 a.m. on Illinois Route 142, approximately half a mile north of County Road 100 North.

Troopers say 30-year-old William G. Tison of Eldorado was struck by a southbound Ford Ranger.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hamilton County Coroner.

Police say the driver, 45-year-old Tony S. Dugaro of Eldorado, was not injured.

He was cited for driving on a suspended license.

The accident remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
