MADERA, CA : 1 dead after head-on crash in Madera on Monday, 10th July 2023

One person is dead after a head-on crash early Monday morning in Madera.

According to CHP, officers were called out to Ellis Street and Fairview Street around 4:00 a.m. for reports of a crash.

Initial investigations show that a driver in a black pickup truck was driving eastbound in a westbound lane at high speeds.

The pickup crashed head-on into another car that was traveling westbound in the westbound lane.
