Five people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle crash in west Charlotte Monday.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Freedom Drive and Thriftwood Drive. WBTV was at the scene where it appeared an SUV t-boned another vehicle, sending it rolling onto its side.
Medic transported five people from the scene to area hospitals. Three of those transported suffered very serious injuries.
No names have been released.
Investigators have not said what may have led to the wreck or if any charges are being filed.
