Three people narrowly avoided serious injuries after a head-on collision that briefly closed Route 38 Monday.
Two cars collided on Route 38/Bridge Street around 8:30 a.m. The Pelham Fire Department assessed the three victims for injuries, but no one was transported to the hospital, according to Lt. John Ignatowicz.
It is uncertain what caused the crash.
The road was briefly closed until tow trucks arrived, and reopened just before 10 a.m.
