NILES, MI : Indiana man killed in Niles Twp crash with dump truck on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

A man was killed Tuesday night after he collided with a dump truck in Niles Township.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of S 11th Street. Deputies say a car driven by a 69-year-old Granger, Indiana man had pulled out of a driveway in front of a dump truck, which then hit the car.

The man was pinned in the vehicle and was not breathing when first responders arrived, according to deputies. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
