St. Martin, MS : Pedestrian died in fatal crash near Van Eaton Circle on Friday night, November 18, 2016

No charges will be filed against a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Lemoyne Boulevard Friday night. Michael Holloway, 41, was hit around 10pm and died at the scene near Van Eaton Circle.

Sheriff Mike Ezell said Charles Joseph Forman, of St. Martin, was driving his black Honda Accord east on Lemoyne in the right lane. Forman told deputies he didn't see Holloway walking in the center of the lane until it was too late. Sheriff Ezell said the victim was wearing dark clothes and walking in an area with very little to no lighting.

No charges were filed against the driver. The accident is still under investigation.
