Helena, MT : A three-vehicle crash in Broadwater County on Friday, 30th March 2018

Emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash in Broadwater County Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 12 about six miles north of Townsend at the intersection with Manor Drive.

The crash occurred when one vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto Manor Drive, and was struck from behind by the second vehicle. The impact resulted in that vehicle striking another vehicle head on, according to Montana Highway Patrol.

Dispatch received the call at 2:54 p.m. Friday.

Occupants of two of the vehicles sustained minor injuries while the status of injuries to occupants of the third vehicle was unknown Friday evening, MHP said.

Alcohol or speed was not believed to be a factor, although the crash was still under investigation, MHP said.
