Everett, WA : Motorcyclist killed in collision on Highway 526 near Evergreen Way on Friday, 12th August, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon in a crash on Highway 526 in Everett.

The man appeared to be in his 20s, Everett police Sgt. Maryjane Hacker said.

The crash was reported about 3:30 p.m. near Evergreen Way. The eastbound motorcycle and an eastbound car collided, Hacker said. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.

The car’s driver, also a man believed to be in his 20s, was unhurt. He was cooperating with the investigation.

As of 4:30 p.m., the eastbound lanes remained closed. Drivers were told to expect delays into the evening.
