Bluff City, TN : One dead, one injured after 11-E crash on Saturday afternoon, October 11, 2014

One man is dead and another female is injured after a Saturday afternoon collision along 11-E in front of the Tri-Cities Flea Market. Leslie Earhart, public information officer for the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, told News 5 the SCSO FIRST team was requested by Bluff City police to investigate the crash. She says it appears the driver of the truck was hit in the side by another vehicle when pulling out of the Flea Market. The male driver of the truck died at the hospital. The female driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with injuries, but Earhart says the injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The investigation is still ongoing.
