Fontana, CA : Fontana Police Department vehicle is involved in collision in the 16800 block of Foothill Boulevard on Friday, 20th December, 2019

A patrol vehicle driven by a Fontana Police Department officer was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Dec. 20.

At about 1:16 p.m., the patrol vehicle and a Toyota SUV collided in the No. 1 lane and the left turn lane in the 16800 block of Foothill Boulevard in Fontana.

Both vehicles were in the eastbound lanes of Foothill, west of Sierra Avenue, when the collision occurred.

The driver side airbag curtain was deployed in the patrol vehicle.

There were no reported injuries.
