COCOA BEACH, FL : 3 injured in Cocoa Beach car versus semi crash on Sunday, January 8th 2017

Three people were injured in a crash involving a car colliding with a semi on Cocoa Beach Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on South Atlantic Avenue near 28th Street.

Brevard County Fire Rescue reported on their Twitter account that one of the three people injured in the crash was transported to an area hospital under trauma alert, while another was transported with non-critical injuries.

The third person suffered minor injuries and refused transport.
