Oxford ,MS : Myrtle man dies in Lafayette County crash on Monday afternoon ,July 27th 2015

Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal one car crash in Lafayette County.

Troopers say the accident happened Monday afternoon on Highway 30 east of Oxford.

Troopers tell WTVA TV (http://bit.ly/1LPlAiW) 22-year-old James E. Butler II of Myrtle was traveling east when his truck left the road and hit a tree.

Authorities say Butler died at the scene.
