DARKE COUNTY, OH : 3 injured in Darke County crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and Horatio Harris Creek Road on Sunday, 31st March 2019

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Darke County Sunday morning.

According to a release from the Darke County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and Horatio Harris Creek Road.

They say a 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven by Ervin Smith, 81, was traveling north on US 127 attempting to turn west onto Horatio Harris Creek Road when a southbound vehicle, driven by Jason Brewer, 48, struck the Dodge Caravan.

Both drivers were transported to Wayne Hospital by Greenville Rescue. A passenger in the southbound vehicle, Maria Brewer, 46, was also taken to the hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
