Ventura County, CA : One killed after motorcycle crash in Santa Monica Mountains on Sunday, July 17, 2016

One person was killed Sunday after a motorcycle crash in the Santa Monica Mountains, officials with the Ventura County Fire Department said.

Paramedics and officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash about 4:11 p.m. near the intersection of Yerba Buena Road and Vedder Mountain, officials said. Initial reports indicated the crash involved the sole motorcycle.

It was not immediately know if there was more than one rider, officials said.
