WILLINGTON, CT : Man dies in 1-vehicle crash in Willington on Sunday, 3rd November 2024

A man died from a one-vehicle crash that happened in Willington on Sunday afternoon.

State police identified the man as 80-year-old Paul Butcher of Taftville.

According to troopers, Butcher traveled westbound on Turnpike Road in Willington, not far from Moose Meadow Road.

They said he ran off the road to the left and struck a tree around 12:25 p.m.
