PORTLAND, OR : Driver wanted after woman killed in NE Portland hit-and-run on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in the Madison South neighborhood early Wednesday morning, and the driver believed to be involved in the crash has been found, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

At about 2:30 a.m., officers were called out to a report of a woman lying in the road near Northeast 85th Avenue and Northeast Fremont Street. Officers arrived at the scene and found a woman dead from injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
