Chesterfield ,SC : Driver Killed and Passenger injured in Crash after lost control while turning left along Highway 9 on Thursday ,April 16th 2015

Troopers are investigating a crash that killed a driver Thursday afternoon in Chesterfield.

The driver failed to yield to an oncoming car, turning left onto Highway 9 at Thompson Creek Road, investigators said.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, troopers said.
The passenger was taken to the hospital.

The other driver had minor injuries.
