Two crashes at Mississippi Avenue at 6 a.m. closed all three lanes

Thousands of drivers on northbound Interstate 225 saw long delays Wednesday morning.

Two crashes at Mississippi Avenue at 6 a.m. closed all three lanes.

One hour later, only one lane was getting by the crash. At 7:12 a.m., crews closed the highway to remove the debris. It reopened a few minutes later.

At 7:20 a.m., 7NEWS traffic reporter Jayson Luber was reporting a 45 minute delay.

By 8:20 a.m., the traffic jam had mostly cleared.
