HANNIBAL, MO : Three injured in rural Hannibal crash on Wednesday, 25th September 2019
Three people sustained minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Marion County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash occurred at 3:55 p.m., Sept. 25, on Veterans Road at the west edge of Hannibal.
According to the accident report a 2005 Chrysler 300 was being driven west by 90-year-old Ina P. Swan of Hannibal while a 2015 Toyota Camry, operated by 27-year-old Paige A. Wellman of Quincy, Ill., was northbound. The collision occurred when the Chrysler drove into the path of the Toyota.
In addition to Swan and Wellman also injured was a passenger in the Toyota, 40-year-old Candy L. Conley of Monroe City, Mo.
All three women, who were wearing safety devices when the accident occurred, were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
