Omaha ,NE : 24-year-old driver killed in crash on midtown Omaha street and passenger uninjured on Friday afternoon ,July 10th 2015

Police say excessive speed was a factor in a crash that killed a 24-year-old Omaha driver.

The crash happened Friday afternoon near 42nd Street and Sorenson Parkway in midtown Omaha. Investigators say Antwaun Rollerson was driving westbound on Sorenson Parkway when he crossed into the right lane, hit a curb and flipped the car.

Rollerson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 16-year-old passenger in the vehicle who was wearing a seat belt escaped uninjured.
