Oregon City, OR :Oregon man killed in 3-vehicle crash on Thursday, July 2nd 2015

An Oregon man was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Oregon early today, authorities said.Sean Lutzmann, 27, who was driving one of the vehicles, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to Oregon police.Mr. Lutzmann was driving west on Woodville Road when he stopped for a red light at Drouillard Road about 7:30 a.m., at which time his vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Jacob Greer, 24, of Fremont, police said. The impact forced the Mr. Lutzmann’s vehicle under another vehicle that was stopped for the red light in front of him.Mr. Greer was treated at the scene and then was arrested and charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, police said. Witnesses told police Mr. Greer was driving at “an excessive rate of speed,” according to a written statement released by police.The driver of the front vehicle, Gregory Small of Toledo, whose age was not released, was also injured, according to police. He was taken to BayPark Hospital, where information on his condition was not available.All drivers were wearing seat belts, according to police.
