Phoenix, AZ : Man killed in 3-vehicle crash on 43rd Avenue in Phoenix on Thursday, 12th December, 2019 14 mins ago

The driver of a sedan was killed Thursday evening in a collision also involving two SUVs near 43rd and Dunlap avenues in Phoenix, police said.

The man who died was driving the car south on 43rd Avenue south of Dunlap around 5:30 p.m. when an SUV turned left onto 43rd Avenue from a business, witnesses told Phoenix police.

The sedan then collided head-on with another SUV that was traveling north on 43rd Avenue, police said.

The man who was driving the sedan was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Impairment does not appear to be a factor, police said.

All other individuals involved — the two men who drove the other vehicles, as well as a total of three unidentified passengers — were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
