Hamilton, OH : Hamilton police officer injured in crash on Seventh Street at Dayton Street on Monday morning, October 31, 2016
A Hamilton city police officer was involved in a crash Monday morning, sending her to the hospital, police said.
According to police, the officer was driving north on Seventh Street at Dayton Street around 10:17 a.m. when another vehicle T-boned the cruiser from the passenger side.
Police said the other vehicle ran a red light.
The officer suffered minor injuries to one of her legs and her face, and was taken to the Fort Hamilton Hospital, police said.
Police said the driver of the vehicle at fault was cited for a red-light violation and for not having a driver's license.
No information was available on the officer's name or the person cited in connection with the crash.
