JACKSONVILLE, FL : 1-year-old dies, four injured in single vehicle crash at I-295 on Sunday, 10th December 2023

A 1-year-old died and four others were injured after a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning at Intersection-295 and Merrill Road, Florida Highway Patrol report said.

The report said an SUV was traveling north on I-295 just south of Merrill Road around 12:35 a.m. The vehicle traveled off of the roadway to the left, striking a guardrail and several palm trees hitting the center median and overturning. The vehicle came to a rest on its roof, the report said.
