Saint Paul, MN : Hibbing woman seriously injured in Twin Cities area crash on February, Tuesday 6th 2018
A Hibbing woman suffered life threatening injuries during a single-vehicle crash near the Twin Cities early Tuesday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 56-year old Audrey Crawford was driving a Dodge Neon north on Interstate 35 West around 3 a.m., when her car went off the road at the Forest Lake split.
Authorities say the vehicle came to rest in the median ditch between I-35 West and I-35 East.
Crawford suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. It is unknown if she was wearing a seatbelt.
Her two passengers, 35-year old Lamario Lamont Calhoun of Brooklyn Center, and 15-year old Joyce Jones of Hibbing, both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the roads were snow and ice covered at the time of the crash.
