Elyria, OH : man found dead on rural road in northeastern Ohio struck by at least 2 cars on Saturday, February 21, 2015
Investigators are trying to determine what killed a 19-year-old man whose body was found on a northeast Ohio road and who had been struck by at least two cars.
The Lorain County Sheriff's Office in Elyria says Kenneth Faria was dead when they arrived at the State Route 113 site while responding to a cellphone call to a county dispatcher. Deputies traced the call made around 2 a.m. Saturday to that area and later confirmed it came from the Lorain man's phone.
Authorities say the dispatcher heard what sounded like a struggle before the phone went dead.
Deputies say a driver at the scene told them he couldn't avoid hitting what he thought was an object in the road.
Authorities say Faria was hit by at least one other car.
