Pensacola, FL : No injuries in school bus crash on Lillian Highway on Friday afternoon, April 1, 2016
There were no injuries Friday afternoon when a teen driving an SUV hit the back of a school bus occupied by 14 kids, according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The bus driven by Lawrence Bova, 64, of Pensacola was stopped for the traffic light for westbound traffic on Lillian Highway in the left turn lane east of the intersection with Fairfield Drive.
A Ford Explorer driven by Alyssa Felizardo, 18, of Pensacola failed to maintain a safe distance, resulting in the front of the SUV hitting the back of the bus.
The bus was occupied by 14 children, none of which received any injuries in the crash.
All parties were wearing their seatbelts, and a careless driving charge is pending.
