Charles City,VI : Charles City man killed in two-vehicle crash in New Kent on January, Friday 12th 2018

A man was killed and another man seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in New Kent County.
About 6:40 p.m., state police responded to the crash scene, near state Route 249 (New Kent Highway) and state Route 613 (Dispatch Road). According to preliminary investigation, a 1999 Toyota pickup truck driven by Gerald Adrian Wenn of Charles City was traveling east on Route 249 when he ran off the road to the right. He overcorrected and lost control of the truck, then veered into the westbound lane and was struck on the driver’s side by a 2016 Honda Pilot.
