JACKSON COUNTY, MS : Early-morning crash leaves 1 dead in Jackson County on Sunday, 30th October 2016
A wreck early Sunday morning in Jackson County has left one person dead and two others injured.
Authorities say Jared Scott Lippe was driving the Ford F-350 when it crashed shortly before 4:30 a.m. near the the corner of Hurley-Wade Road and Palmetto Lane in the Wade community. Lippe, 23, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to officials with Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
Two passengers who were in the truck were also injured. A 17-year old was taken to Singing River Hospital and a second passenger, 22 year old Hayden Lambert, was transported to USA Medical Center in Mobile. Both passengers are in serious but stable condition.
Officials say all three occupants were ejected from the truck.
The traffic division at Jackson County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.
