PERRY COUNTY, TN : 1 killed, 2 injured in Perry County crash on Sunday, 22nd November, 2020

A 24-year-old driver was killed and two of his passengers were injured in a crash in Perry County Sunday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the single-vehicle collision was reported around 6 p.m. in the 5400 block of Hurricane Creek Road, southeast of Linden.

A crash report from THP states William Hickerson as driving westbound, when he failed to negotiate a curve, overcorrected and overturned in the roadway. The 24-year-old Hohenwald man was killed, according to troopers.

A 24-year-old passenger was injured, along with a juvenile, the THP report states. The extent of their injuries was not known.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
