Racine ,WI : 27-year-old motorcyclist killed after his vehicle hit the vehicle entering the intersection at Ridgeway Ave on Friday morning ,May 15th 2015

A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash early Friday in Racine, police said.

Racine police were called shortly before 7 a.m. to the intersection of Ohio St. and Ridgeway Ave. for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and car, according to a news release.

When officers arrived, the motorcyclist was found in the roadway with fatal injuries, the release stated.

The preliminary investigation indicates that motorcycle was heading north on Ohio St. when it hit the vehicle entering the intersection at Ridgeway Ave., police said.
