COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : 1 arrested in suspected DUI crash in Colorado Springs on Saturday, 11th November 2023

A driver was arrested Saturday night in a suspected DUI crash near Citadel Mall.
Police say an Acura was heading eastbound on Galley passing North Academy when a Honda CRV abruptly turned into the eastbound lanes and hit it. The driver in the Acura was seriously injured in the impact.
Galley Road was shut down for several hours at Academy but is back open as of Sunday morning.
Police say impairment appears to be a factor and arrested driver Alysa McAnally in connection with the crash. Officers didn’t clarify which vehicle she was in.
